Is your current market a buyer’s market? A seller’s market? Neutral? For as long as we can remember, 6-months of inventory signified a neutral market, but does that really still hold true? With information more readily available and everything moving at a faster pace in general, Garrett and Matt make an argument that a 6-month inventory should not be your automatic definition of a neutral market. In fact, they discuss what statistics might be more important to you, as an expert in your market. And, even if you decide it is a buyer’s or a seller’s market, you still have clients on both sides of the market that need help; what to do with the information when it is not necessarily in your client’s favor?
